St. Soldier International School, Sector-28 B, Chandigarh celebrated its Primary Wing Annual Day, ‘The Carnival of Joy 2025–26,’ with great enthusiasm and dignity. The event highlighted the creativity, confidence, and cultural awareness of young learners from Playway to Kindergarten. The programme commenced with a warm invocation and the ceremonial lamp lighting, led by the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Vivek Atray, ex-IAS officer, motivational speaker, author, and educator, accompanied by other dignitaries. This was followed by a formal welcome extended to the Guest of Honour, Mr. Mubarak Singh Sandhu, noted author, poet, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker. Class VI students Doyel and Aadi efficiently anchored the programme.

A series of thematic performances showcasing seasonal celebrations, festivals, and the innocence of early childhood formed the heart of the event. Items such as ‘Welcome Dance,’ ‘I Am So Happy,’ ‘I Got That Sunshine,’ ‘Deep in the Ocean,’ ‘Shine from Inside,’ ‘Baisakhi – Bhangra,’ ‘Holi,’ ‘Christmas,’ ‘Spring is Knocking,’ ‘It’s Summer Time,’ and ‘Pitter Patter Raindrops’ displayed the talent, charm, and confidence of the students. Each act reflected thoughtful preparation and the dedicated efforts of teachers in guiding the young performers. The audience was then addressed by the Chief Guest, who commended the institution for fostering holistic development, creativity, and values among its students. He motivated the audience to give value to society and not to be drawn towards materialism. This was followed by the Guest of Honour’s address, where Mr. Sandhu appreciated the school’s vibrant culture, the teachers’ commitment, and the exceptional performances by the children. He emphasized the importance of nurturing and valuing the bonds of friendship cultivated by students in school.

A formal Vote of Thanks was delivered, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, Director, Adviser, Principal and support staff for their invaluable contribution to the success of the event. Tokens of appreciation were presented to teachers as well as members of the Art Department and support staff, acknowledging their dedication and hard work.

The event concluded with the National Anthem, marking a dignified close to a memorable celebration that seamlessly blended cultural richness, youthful enthusiasm, and academic spirit.
