1st SSIS Lawn Tennis Tournament 2024

Saint Soldier International School is hosting its first Lawn Tennis Tournament from 22nd to 24th October 2024. Twelve teams from the tricity will compete over three days, showcasing remarkable talent and sportsmanship. The event was inaugurated in the presence of the school’s esteemed management, celebrating the unifying power of sports. On the inaugural day, the first match was won by St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School with a score of 2-0 against Ashiana Public School. In the first singles, Anwesh Pushpam from St. Joseph’s defeated Yuvraj of Ashiana with a convincing score of 6-1. The second singles saw Samvir Singh from St. Joseph’s secure a narrow victory over Abhijay from Ashiana Public with a score of 7-5. In the second match, Gurukul Global, Manimajra faced Vivek High Sec. School - 70, Mohali and won by 2-1. In the first singles, Khushdeep from Gurukul Global defeated Lakshya Mittal from Vivek High with a score of 6-1. In the second singles, Japnit from Vivek High secured victory over Raghav Garg from Gurukul Global with a commanding score of 6-0. The doubles match saw Raghav and Khushdeep from Gurukul Global defeat the pair of Japnit Charaya and Lakshya from Vivek High with a score of 6-1.

In the third match, Manav Mangal Smart School won against St. Soldier Divine School, Pkl. by 2-1. In the first singles match, Tanishq from St. Soldier Divine won against Agam from Manav Mangal  with a score of 6-2. The second singles saw Kiratarth of Manav Mangal defeating Sumahit from St. Soldier Divine, securing a 6-3 victory. In the doubles, Kiratarth and Agam of Manav Mangal triumphed over Tanishq and Harshikesh of St. Soldier Divine with a score of 6-4. In the concluding match for the day, St. Kabir Public School, Sector 26, faced off against Smart Wonder-71, in which St. Kabir won by 2-0. In the first singles match, Cherish from St. Kabir beat Viroj from Smart Wonder with a score of 6-0. In the second singles match, Rushil from St. Kabir also won against Yuvraj of Smart Wonder, again with a 6-0 score.
