Republic Day Celebration
Republic day Celebrations at the Saint Soldier International School began with earnest fervour. The day which is celebrated by Indians across the length and breadth of the country ﬁlled everyone with immense sense of pride.
Despite the online nature of the celebrations there was no dampening of spirits as we celebrated this day with patriotic zeal and pride. Plethora of activities were organised for the kindergarten, middle and high school students.
For the senior wing of the school various competitions and activities were organised by the teachers such as quiz contests, group discussions, debates, slogan writing etc.
Apart from these competitions poetry recitation, recital of patriotic songs, face and t-shirt painting, making tri-colour badges, accessories and other such fun activities were also held for the children.
For the children of class VIII, an online quiz on Freedom Fighters was organised by the class teachers. Scholars of class IX had a slogan writing competition arranged for them which saw the creation of some expressive slogans whereas patriotic song writing competition was organised for the students of class X.
Class XI students held a healthy debate on the topic ‘Health care and Welfare schemes are a paradox in India’. The healthy debate lead to mindful resourcefulness and originality of thought and expression among the students.
Similar spirited and enthusiastic group discussion on the topic 'Relevance of Freedom in present times’ was held for students of class XII which satisﬁed their productive and visionary personalities.
Apart from these activities, class teachers presented talks through power point presentations and showcased videos commemorating the sacriﬁces of our bravehearts to instill patriotic zeal among the youngsters.
In the end a common video honouring our freedom ﬁghters and showcasing India's pride and achievements was presented through the virtual medium to disseminate nationalistic passion.
