Independence Day Celebrations
A vibrant online celebration in all classes marked the Independence Day function at Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28 Chandigarh. Yujyait Vig (Class XII Science) anchored the programme. Students from Pre-Primary to Class XII presented a variety of items on patriotic themes. The morning began with inspiring talks by the respective Class Teachers who urged students to uphold the spirit of national unity and integrity. The entire school fraternity joined the music teacher Ms. Kavita Chopra in a stirring rendition of the national anthem.
An eloquent speech was presented by Kavya Sharma (Class XII Arts) who extolled the past and present achievements of the country. Poems, songs and energetic dances on patriotic themes added colour to the occasion which displayed the exceptional talent of students. The event ended with a melodious song sung by teachers in praise of our country, Principal Vijaya Sidhu and Director Jagwinder Pal Singh extended their warm greetings to parents, staff and students on this occasion.
