NCC Wing

SSIS

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) came into existence on 16 July 1948 under an Act of Parliament. The aims of the NCC laid out in 1988 have stood the test of time and continue to meet the requirements expected of it in the current socio-economic scenario of the country.

At Saint Soldier International School, the NCC aims to develop character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst our young students. Further, it aims at creating a pool of organised, trained and motivated students with leadership qualities so that they can serve the nation regardless of which career they choose. Needless to say, the NCC also provides an environment conducive to the students to join the armed forces.

The NCC ideal: Empowerment of youth betokens our commitment to work for a healthy, prosperous and strong India.

The NCC training philosophy in the school is based on the following concepts:

  • Empowerment of Youth to earn the Right to Lead.
  • Module based training.
  • Cadet friendly curriculum.
  • Inculcation of national integration.

The training methodology includes camp training, institutional training, adventure based learning and sports.
