Visit to a Printing Press

     

The students of 'Fusion Science Club' visited the Times of India to get a glimpse of processes involved in printing a newspaper. The children were enlightened about the procedure involved in printing. They were also explained the various stages of printing and colours used. Moreover, they were told about the types of papers and metal plates used for printing, etc. Children were also shown the printing machine and its functions. Different types of printing stations. Students were amazed to see the number of copies which could be printed in minutes. They appreciated the efforts put in by the workers of the printing press. It was a wonderful learning experience for the students.

Visit to State Council of Educational Research and Training Sector 32, Chandigarh 

         

The budding scientists of school, with their engaging scientific temperament paid a visit to SCERT Sector 32, Chandigarh along with their science teacher. Children witnessed project demonstration on Robotics, agricultural advancement, lasers techniques and uses etc. The exhibition not only inculcated scientific attitude among children but it also benefitted them as they shared and exchanged innovative ideas. They provided feedback on displayed projects and most importantly learnt the application of those models in their daily life.

The visit proved to be very knowledgeable and informative for everyone and provided platform to the budding scientist to express their talent and gain confidence.

Classes VI to XII Excursions

            

          

Enthralling excursions were organised for the students of Class VI to XII. Children of Class VI and VII visited Chokhi Dhani where they experienced the flavour of Rajasthani culture while students of Class VIII to XII were taken to Shivjot Adventure Resort where all the groups displayed extraordinary energy as they did various adventure activities like sky cycle, zipline etc. The outing was a much needed break from the regular schedule of the school. The students came back with wonderful memories of the time spent with their classmates and teachers.

Classes Pre-Nursery to V Excursions

          

          

Excursions were organised for the students of classes Pre Nursery to V. Children were divided class wise and were sent to various places. Tiny tots of the Pre-Primary and Primary classes visited the Rose Garden and the Japanese Garden. Children were pleased by the beautiful sights. Class I, II along with class IV and V had a wonderful day at the Rock Garden which is a marvel of creativity and innovation to witness and rejoice. Students learnt about Nek Chand, the man behind this amazingly unique creation. They saw different sculptures made from recycled material like ceramic pieces, glasses, electrical waste, broken bangles etc. Class III had a fun-filled day at the Pinjore Gardens. Students were struck by the greenery and the architecture of the beautiful garden. All the students had a blissful experience and sweet memories to cherish lifelong.
